I wandered lonely as a cloud

(for YM)

To all who sail the wide expanse of ink, hold meter dear as lifeblood to romance [or to make epistle’s reasons clear] fear not to launch your paper skiffs, deny yourself no childish thrill of dreaming up five hundred “ifs” while wondering what the heavens will. Let swells of comment frighten never, and yield not to the pedant’s spell; let whims and dreams enlighten ever [direct the jealous straight to hell!] Writers, much like others, treasure strolls on beaches, chats in a bar, cats and gulls…clouds beyond measure, as clouds resemble what they are.
